We're heading to my hometime this week-end. We'll be visiting with family and lots of friends. We love Godfrey Daniel's, where Terry will be performing Saturday night. There is such a warm sound and the atmosphere is very homey.
I am so happy to be seeing my Mother, who is the cutest and sweetest person in the world, and Kate and Sam from NJ, Glen and Sue from Virginia, my sisters, and so many others.
I have a good friend at work who always responds to "How are you?" with "Thankful". That says it all for me.
Jo

Belgium

What a wonderful whirlwind trip to Belgium! Terry's show in Veurne was wonderful. Jose, the promoter of the show, shares the same birthday as Terry! He is also the police chief and took the time to give us a tour of City Hall and the Bread museum. We had a large contingent of Brugge friends at the show, which made it very special.
Next was Ertvelde and a wonderful visit with good pals Norbert and Odette. The Maple is a great saloon, and a good time was had by all!
The last show in Galmarden was very much fun also. Marc provided us with dinner at a wonderful restaurant.
The best times of the trip were spent with friends. We discovered that Johan can cook! Friday night dinner at Nicky's with "the gang" was very special. We're making plans for a BBQ when we return in the Spring.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our Belgian friends-Marlene and Peter, Marlene and Johan, Dirk and Hrete, Henk and Helga,Norbert and Odette,Nicky, Marnix,Jose, and everyone else! We'll see you in May!!!
Pah rum pum pum pum!!!

What a lovely night in Chase City, Va.! We love these little towns. The people are the real deal and recognize the real deal. You can't ask for a better audience in the USA. It's similar to performing in Belgium. All of their attention is on the performer.
We listened with pleasure to the opening act. Ronnie and Jack played guitar and sang a great selection of tunes. Especially lovely was Alan Jackson's "Remember When". We heard an encore performance of this song following the show.
We're gearing up for our trip to Belgium in a few weeks. We are very anxious to see our friends-Johan and Marleen, Peter and Marlene, Norbert and Odette, Henk and Helga, Dirk and Hrete, etc!!! We'll be eating and drinking well and doing our Christmas shopping.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Jo and Terry

We'll be heading to Fredericksburg, Va. Friday night and hope to see lots of friends at Chords. We haven't been there before, but we hear that it's a great place. The menu sure is inviting! Saturday should be great fun! Our friends from Victoria Public Library are likely to come visit us at the Robert E. Lee auditorium in Chase City, Va.
Next week we take a break to enjoy Thanksgiving. We have lots to be thankful for. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday with family and friends.
Terry and Jo
