Belgium
What a wonderful whirlwind trip to Belgium! Terry's show in Veurne was wonderful. Jose,the promoter of the show, shares the same birthday as Terry! He is also the police chief and took the time to give us a tour of City Hall and the Bread museum. We had a large contingent of Brugge friends at the show, which made it very special.
Next was Ertvelde and a wonderful visit with good pals Norbert and Odette. The Maple is a great saloon, and a good time was had by all!
The last show in Galmarden was very much fun also. Marc provided us with dinner at a wonderful restaurant.
The best times of the trip were spent with friends. We discovered that Johan can cook! Friday night dinner at Nicky's with "the gang" was very special. We're making plans for a BBQ when we return in the Spring.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our Belgian friends-Marlene and Peter, Marlene and Johan, Dirk and Hrete, Henk and Helga,Norbert and Odette,Nicky, Marnix,Jose, and everyone else! We'll see you in May!!!
